Sunexo Solutions is led by an experienced team with a wealth of on-the-ground experience in regulatory stakeholder engagement, using technology to solve business challenges and grow successful businesses.
Chad Ford has run Sunexo Solutions since 2012. He is responsible for daily operations and strategic growth. The primary focus of his career has been based around regulatory and stakeholder engagement for major projects. He has worked directly with many of the largest resource development and energy companies in North America by helping them improve their stakeholder engagement efforts with technology. Chad is a driven thought leader in stakeholder information management (SIM). He founded the first dedicated SIM team in North America, has authored multiple white papers and articles, and has spoken at conferences on the subject. Prior to his work in community engagement, Chad was a member of the Canadian Forces where he conducted a tour of duty in Afghanistan. When Chad is not working on the evolution of Sunexo he enjoys playing hockey, backcountry hiking, and listening to podcasts.
Iain Shaw, Chief Information Officer
Iain is responsible for ensuring that best practices are maintained at all levels of software development. He also plays a key role in planning and executing the strategic direction for Sunexo. - He is a highly experienced, multi-skilled and meticulous solution architect. - Iain has over twenty years of technology experience covering a variety of market sectors such as Oil and Gas, Retail Energy, Defence, Investment Banking, Health, Land Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Private Education. - When he’s not in the office, Iain likes to spend time with his family, enjoys weightlifting and mountain biking.
Paul Anderson, Partner
Paul provides senior-level strategic support and regulatory expertise to the Sunexo team. He is an environmental consultant by training and has worked in that capacity for major pipeline projects for most of his professional career. Paul has held senior regulatory positions including Director, Commercial and Government Affairs at Alliance
Pipeline and Director of Land and Environment for Enbridge’s Northern Gateway project. Currently, he is President of RPS HMA Land Services. - Paul’s enthusiasm for cycling, triathlon, and endurance sports has inspired him to co-found the prominent Ironman 70.3 Calgary, and SpeedTheory.
